We do not only know our farmers personally, however, pursue a revolutionary approach. Together with local farmers in KAFFA, southwest Ethiopia, we cultivate a territory of 120 ha and we locally develop an independent, self-sustaining way of life.

This unique cooperation enables us to obtain and live a different perspective of our responsibility as trade partners. Due to this constant and direct exchange along with our local presence we can guarantee “best practices” at various levels from cultivation until the prepared cup of coffee.

For this it is necessary to develop integral models and to respectively verify the specific implementation. We are convinced that we cannot consider prevalent challenges of our time in an isolated way.
